Vera Gailis is an Israeli-based artist, curator, and cultural initiator originally from Ukraine. Her work explores themes of immigration, gender, and cultural identity through photography, performance, and mixed media, often engaging communities in the artistic process. She is inspired by Israeli conceptual art of the 1970s and investigates the role of archives in contemporary art.
